MY FIRST WARZONE WIN!! (Modern Warfare Battle Royale)
Great idea
Optometrist in the comments lmao
You never know! lol
I farmed those unidentified plant parts forever but the rep grind was worth the pain. My Cenarian War Hippogryph is my most prized WoW possession.
This was my favorite zone back in the day.
I couldn’t tell if the zone was THAT good or if I was just tired of staring at hellfire peninsula LOL
Lmao at your torch antics! WoW can definitely get you that way at times.
I'm loving this content! Been playing WoW for 19 years and I still level through all this myself from time to time. I love your humor and your take on this iconic game.
Thanks! Happy to hear you’re enjoying the series!!!
@SOALgaming just seeing if u would like to get the addon storyline, makes the gameplay more immersive. try it out on ur next playthrough!
@@MrMikemumby I will absolutely look into that. I really wanted to have the AI voices that read the quest text because I personally feel like it makes the quest givers feel more alive, but it’s only for Classic :(
@@SOALgaming sweet man i use it and its amazing. i love your videos as well, im also doing the whole story evern since u started this! i always wanted to do this aswell. i hope u like the "storyline" addon
@@MrMikemumby I appreciate that man! That's awesome that you've started the journey as well. Where did you decide to start in Vanilla or TBC?
@@SOALgaming starting on TBC aswell, then the next expansion WOTLK like ur going to do, lol by doing this we both wont start the war within for years :)
Glad RUclips let me stumble across you lol this is awesome.
Glad to have you here, and thank you!😎
I could be in the minority, but these vids would be great if they were shorter, with more parts. I end up watching 10 mins then clicking off and coming back later (sometimes). Still looking forward to some more content 😊.
That's a fair take. I landed on this sort of "2 hours tops" format for a couple reasons. I wanted it to be kind of "Let's Play-ish" longer form but didn't want to just upload 5 hours of gameplay like a Twitch VOD. I also didn't want, down the line, to have 475 parts and have someone be interested in the series come in and see 475 parts and have the "nah, I'm not watching all that" feeling LOL. I've been editing down quite a bit of the travelling and the "kill 30 mobs" stuff because no one wants to see all that lol. I really do appreciate the feedback though!
@@SOALgaming yeah I completely understand, keep doing your thing. It's cool you're taking the time to edit and not just throw up a VOD and call it a day. Stay Blessed home skillet.
If you want to experience the Warcraft lore you should play Warcraft 2 and 3. These are RTS games but the lore is essential to understand WoW history.
Gotten lots of suggestions to play through these. I’m gonna have to get that done at some point!
Whew. That's a journey, brother. I decided to finally get my loremaster title last year and just did everything in order....and holy shit it took SO long. I wish I would've kept a timer.
I don’t think TBC and WotLK will be TOO bad. I think if there’s a breaking point it may be cataclysm. I don’t know how the quest chains are or if cataclysm has an MSQ arc to follow because I know a lot of the vanilla quests were also reworked if I understand correctly. But, if I have to do this same method and go through every zone in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms to technically experience all of Cataclysm I may break by “Cataclysm Pt. 726” LOL
@@SOALgaming I feel you, bro. You're gonna kill it. Questing after WOTLK only seemed to get easier and streamlined. My biggest complaint going through all of it was how BC and Wrath literally had you travel one whole zone for ONE quest at times and it SUCKED if you didn't have flying. You're well on your way though, bro. Love your channel. Will keep following your journey.
This is really making me wish TBC Classic was still available as an official Classic server just so you (and anyone else interested in TBC and the other expansions) could experience a few of the tougher enemies like Gorax at their intended initial difficulty with the TBC toolkit. It took a lot more careful planning and understanding of your class to do solo. But it would be frustrating to do some of the more difficult ones that really required a group when so few others are playing.
Honestly I really wish that too. I would’ve played TBC Classic when I had the chance, but I started playing retail around that time I believe. If those servers were still up, that’s the method I would’ve chosen to do this whole series. I didn’t want to do any unofficial private servers for obvious reasons. It’s also why I’m focusing more on lore/story/campaign as opposed to an “authentic” experience. I missed the damn boat twice LOL
Zangarmarsh is my favorite zone! Can wait to see you fall in love with the mushroom people and viscerally hate all the water lol
I’m gonna be a good boy and not pull out any water mounts LOL
Still watching man lol thanks
I Appreciate it, Thank YOU!
48:23 Arcane lock happened because as you were trying to cast an arcane spell with a cast time one of the enemies used an interrupt ability against you which locks you out of all spells in the same school of magic that you are trying to cast. So if you had been trying to cast a frost spell it would have locked you out of your frost spells, etc.
Yeaaaaa I figured that out eventually. Still not used to being interrupted like that LOL
It's not too hard to get dungeon groups even though you wont find many players out in the wild. When you join the dungeon finder queue it looks for random players of either faction and on other servers so the pool of players for it is a lot larger than you'll encounter on the world shards you play in while questing around.
I’ve tried the dungeon finder a couple times for Burning Crusade dungeons and the wait times are, expectedly, ASTRONOMICAL and it never found a single person. The few times I tried weren’t during peak hours though, so that may have something to do with it.
@@SOALgaming You are also doing this during the Remix event so most people are leveling their alts in Remix so that's taking a lot of the players that would otherwise available for your queues.
@@alexisfox2511 VERY true!
Wtf people still play retail? its so shit
The dark portal is part of Warcraft 2 and it leads to Draenor the original home of the Orcs. The Orcs originally came to Azeroth as part of the Burning Legion's army to soften up Azeroth. A lot of the story in the Burning Crusade expansion begins with Warcraft 2 and continues in Warcraft 3.
I've been playing since vanilla so I did get to experience all of this stuff when it was the retail experience and I'm working on my own personal slow play through the expansions again in a similar way. I start up a character and play through the game just enjoying the stories and questlines and at lvl 59 I turned off xp gain so I wouldn't get kicked out of Chromie time. It's a great way to experience the various stories with all the quality of life benefits that retail WoW offers over Classic. As for the skipping over vanilla, there really is no Chromie time experience for vanilla wow since in Chromie time you can only get the post cataclysm world experience which has some differences. However, there's really nothing wrong with missing out on vanilla as there wasn't really a cohesive story that spanned all of vanilla. Each zone had its own storyline that culminated in a dungeon in that zone and at max level you'd follow a storyline that took you into a raid and that story ended at the end of that raid. None of the raids were really connected to each other story-wise aside from Onyxia was connected to Blackwing Lair and the 2 raids in Silithus were connected to each other. Beyond that everything was its own story. The expansions were the point where everything was connected to an overarching story going forward even though each story was contained within that single expansion. The story tying together across expansions really begins with Warlords of Draenor since the events of that expansion lead into Legion and that story carries through to the end of Shadowlands. Dragonflight is sort of a palate cleanser where the story we followed for the last several expansions is mostly irrelevant and we are going back to something that happened way back at the end of Cataclysm when the Aspects lost their power. So we are currently resuming that story with Dragonflight being a prelude and setting the scene for next multi-expansion story arc.
TBC was famous for giving you crazy mismatched items that made you look like a 2nd rate clown while leveling. Also, those bigger boss quests used to be hard enough to require grouping to kill Arazzius (3 competent people, or 5 noobs) and Blacktalon (any two people, or solo if you burned a couple cooldowns)
It’s not TERRRRIBLE but yeah my fashion is off LOL. But that’s actually pretty cool! So they were almost like world bosses. Obviously I’m glad it’s not like that anymore for this purpose but that would definitely foster the classic grouping and social aspects I always hear so much about in the old expansions.
I liked playing by expansion in shadowlands & dragonflight, nice to see your experience too! :)
Thanks for watching!! Which expansions did you play!?
Oh fuck this sounds fun as hell. Never played WoW growing up but interested lol
When you finish each zone are you planning on doing a Lore explained video?
I actually thought about this recently!! I think that would be really cool to have a "what I learned" style video at the end of the expansion.
@SOALgaming or even zone by zone then a capstone expansion vid! Just trying to throw out ideas for content
having those wow dreams
First to comment lol thanks man this has been great material to pass out too
Ayyyyy I'll gladly be the soundtrack to a well rested adventurer. Thanks for watching!! :)
Really enjoying this series. I think all modern wow players have thought have doing this at some point but never actually been brave/stupid enough to do it.
I’ve been wanting to do it since I started playing a couple years ago so bad. Really glad you’re enjoying it!!
Play WarCraft III
I've heard this exact advice before. Loooooots of major lore leading into WoW I've heard. Is the reforged version worth getting purely for lore reasons? I've heard not so great things about it.
@@SOALgaming Reforged can be a bit buggy and IMO the art style isn't as good as the 2002 version. If you own Reforged, you can play the Classic version, but it makes you download the 20GB+ Reforged client. Can always sail the seas for older versions if you want the 1GB version that's bug free.
Oh that's kind of cool that you get the original version with reforged. Good timing too, it's half off on Battle net right now if I wanted to jump in.
@@SOALgaming You can play Reforged with original graphics but it's not exactly the older versions.
@Zhohan- AH! Okay I understand what you mean now.
If you want the full full experience you should not own a mountuntil 30 and no flying until 70 lol
I knoooooowwwww. Consider this...TBC Plus XD
It's so cool that you're doing this and its something I've been wanting to do myself! I'm a new WOW player and I started playing during the middle of BFA, so I never had that classic WOW experience. I feel left out when other players reference past events or scenes. Yeah I can watch lore vids or read about it on a wiki, but I wanna play through it!
EXACTLY! I know that it will never be or feel the same as back then but still worth a run through!.
You thought 3 days ago when this was posted that the most vanilla WoW experience you had available to you was Retail. 0.0
Nah, I have classic characters, but in the interest of time I wasn't going to to play Vanilla because the lore to hours played ratio is not worth it. Chromie time just allows me to jump in the expansion I want immediately without putting in the 10,000 hours of ground work. If the Classic TBC Servers were still up I would have just done that instead, but even that has been made to be cataclysm. From what I can tell, true classic TBC isn't possible to play right now unless playing a private server.
good luck on your journey!
Thank you!! :)
16:55 You have to get 20 or 25 Heirlooms. Heirlooms can be bought in undercity and ironforge - might have changed since i don‘t play it currently anymore but they should be there.. Heirlooms are expensive because; First you buy them and you will be able to just create out of nothing this Heirloom for your Twink, cross-server and crossfaction -they‘ll grant you Xp boost‘s and the Gear is leveling with your Character so you barely ever need to change your equipment. The effects last only like 20-30 levels under max lvl, you can Upgrade them too but each upgrade adds 5 or 10 levels and cost‘s a couple thousands of gold. Those Vendors also sell you Maps for the fast travel routes. (And lots more stuff ) You gotta pack in surely atleast like 10’000 - 15‘000 Gold but if you want to max out the Heirlooms, basically you end up paying roughly 50‘000 Gold for 5 armor pieces and a weapon. It‘s like a heirloom ~500g First Upgrades ~1000g Second ~2000g Third ~5000g
Well that actually explains why I didn’t know how to get it. When I first started playing someone told me that heirlooms don’t really work the way they used to and I just NEVER learned how heirlooms work or even where to get them LOL. Thanks for the explanation, I really appreciate it!!
That ever so subtle "FUCK"
SO subtle 😂
Hey, i found u on somebodies subscriptions, a small channel, would u happen to know a user by the name "Lady9Ninna"?
I indeed DO know who that is.

I wish this game would come to xbox
A series S/X release would actually be pretty nice. I think the interface would be a nightmare on controller though.
I genuinely loved this. A sub from me 💥
Ayyy man thanks so much for watching! 😎
Disco Elysium is my most recent surprise-amazing experience. While the game is critically-acclaimed, I went into it knowing nothing. I was expecting a combination of RPG with gameplay elements, but the gameplay is mainly talking to the characters that make up the whole setting and using DnD style dice checks for certain actions and interactions. All of that talking is made up of rich, complex, character dialogue, with spot-on, authentic voice acting that makes the whole experience so rewarding. It's also hilarious, your skills (such as composure, endurance, empathy) all talk to you internally, narrated impeccably with voice acting. I could go on and on, it's a game everyone should experience. You can be a by-the-book law abiding citizen with communist ideologies, a hobo cop alcoholic, a meathead, a dictionary, or even take part in what your character can call "the homosexual underground" who is a superstar. Play the game and find out who you are!
I've heard so much about Disco Elysium but I feel like I still know basically nothing about it. Everyone I know who has played it had nothing but praise for the game. It's definitely on my "One day I'll get to it" list XD

If you were a Jedi/Sith What Lightsaber color would you choose?
This definitely sounds like a gaming burnout. I know it myself. It started in my early to mid 20's. At first i thought it was just collecting burnout (i used to be a retro collector, accumulating up to 400 game across over 25 games consoles), but as time passes, i started thinking that it was just a gaming burnout in general. I'm currently at the age of 30, and my position is still the same as it was many years ago. I have no idea whether or not gaming fatigue can be cured....nor do i really care whether it could even be cured or not. I still play games here and there, but i rarely play for long, nor do i look forward much in anything gaming related. Maybe a title or two, but that's it. I still have my PS3, a cheap gaming PC to play games that came out around 2010 or older (or some more recent game, albeit at medium-to-low setting) and i'm not looking to get a PS5 or the Xbox Series X or whatever else. I'm now at the point where i'm pretty much satisfy with the few game i have left (i got rid of 99% of all my games)....and that it's. So yeah, it's not just you.
Appreciate you sharing all of that! I’m also 30 and I will admit, it seems like every year that passes there are more and more new releases that I consider “not for me” or “not my thing”. I am still excited for a lot of games though. I notice more spans of time that I consider “droughts” in releases. But, that could also just be a timing problem on my part. My burnout HAS gotten better since making this video, but the scrolling through my library aimlessly still happens often 😂. Thanks for taking the time to watch and for your personal input!
@@SOALgaming No problem buddy :) When it come for the aimless library scrolling, deleting some game that you never play may not be the solution to end all solution, but it help to reduce the ' 'endless scrolling' '. I know it's not much, but i hope this trick could help.
Try playing with a group sometimes you need other people to make the game more exciting
Solid advice! Been playing a lot of games with my nephew lately. So I think I may need the opposite? A killer single player game with engaging gameplay and interesting story might do the trick. 🤷🏻♂️
I feel ya man
Feels good to not be alone, bro!!
I'm sort of in a funk where I play WoW or Destiny and thats literally it. I have dozens of other games that I just can't seem to stick with. Maybe it is the time of year. Summer is usually a bummer season for releases anyways. I guess what I'm saying is I have no fucking clue and I wish I could help lmaoo
AGREED!! This summer, to me, has been the worst for some reason. Can’t quite put a finger on it. I AM pumped about the latter half of the year though!!
I've been thur it multiple times!! I will sit on console for days and not play anything. Right now I've been streaming the last of us part 2. I've had for a week now and I'm obligated to finish it. I'm just patiently waiting for the next new game to come out. This is Definitely something gamers go thur sometimes. I tried to take a break from gaming. That worked for me and I got my groove back. Lol it all depends on the person bro! Some people are different and have different ways to get out of the funk. BTW This is Sketchy and new Channel
I’ve had this before but nowhere near the amount I’m having it right now. It’s really odd. I’d say this is the first time I’ve had full burnout. I’m going to keep truckin’ along though! 😎
What did you do to fix your Video Game "Burnout"? Let me know!
